Lymington is surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, from the New Forest's heathlands and ancient woodlands to the 5-mile-long coastal nature reserves that end at Hurst Castle, built by Henry VIII in 1554. Lymington is a great base for exploring the New Forest, Isle of Wight, and Hampshire coast.
