River Cottage is a mid-terrace cottage resting within the town of Tewkesbury. It houses a first floor super king-size double bedroom and a second floor king-size double and a bathroom, complete with a bath, separate walk-in shower, basin and WC on the first floor. Additional rooms include an open-plan living room, offering a kitchen area, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside, you will find a rear courtyard with garden furniture. River Cottage is an idyllic base for a family holiday to the Cotswolds.

Over three floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x super-king-size bed, 1 x second floor king-size double. (On the first floor is a King Size Bed and on the second floor a Super King Bed, which can be zip-locked to make one large bed or can be made into Two Singles, whichever configuration the Guests Prefer). Bathroom with separate shower, basin and WC. Open-plan living room with kitchen area, dining area and kitchen area.

Area
Tewkesbury is a riverside town located within the Cotswolds, on the confluence of the River Severn and Avon. Within the village you will find a selection of eateries, shops and pubs, as well as a country and farmers' market, musical events and Vintage and Food Fairs. For attractions, you will find 12th century abbey, several museums and a Heritage Centre. Close by is the spa town of Cheltenham and the city of Gloucester.

Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

Note: From the 1st October 2019, the cottage will have a free parking permit for the Gloucester Road Parking Lot situated just a few minutes away through Victoria Gardens. Note: Tewkesbury Abbey and extensive grounds are 200 yards from the cottage.

We just came back from a perfect week at River Cottage Tewkesbury. We stayed there as a group of 4 adults and we found the cottage to be absolutely ideal for our needs. It is a warm and absolutely charming cottage. Everything we needed was on hand. The cottage was spotlessly clean. It was right on the door step for both the river Avon and Severn and had a lovey public garden right outside the front door. Tewkesbury had everything we needed and I'm certain that we will be going back to river cottage again. Many thanks to the management team who were brilliant.

A well equipped holiday cottage, well sited for Tewksbury Abbey (at the end of the street and well worth a visit in its own right) and the numerous eateries in the town centre. (The Sorrento being well worth a visit as well as the Chocolate Cafe). The cottage is cosy with good central heating and comfortable beds, although the 2nd Floor bedroom can take a while to heat up. The TV is supplemented by a DVD player and SKY TV (without movies and Sport but with pretty much everything else). The range cooker is very effective and both fridge and freezer are a useful size. The only possible negative is that the stairs are quite steep and although not a problem for us may be for someone with mobility issues. The shower is powerful for an electric unit and the bath is of a good size. The cottage is also well sited for visiting the Malvern Hills (30)", Bredon (10") both great for walking dogs, Symonds Yat and the Forest of Dean, the Severn Valley Railway and Stratford Upon Avon (All 40"). Again all worth Visiting. We were very happy with our choice of cottage as was our dog who found the little garden intriguing. We would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable cottage to stay in.

The setting was perfect with wonderful outlook onto the river and park.. Quiet but close enough to all amenities. If any criticism then a hairdryer and small clothes horse wouldn't go amiss. Had lovely relaxed holiday, thank you.

River Cottage is a beautiful place to stay.. Set just off the water side,.. seconds walk away from restaurants, shops, beautiful walks, is an extremely comfortable, cosy house suitable for both couples and family. The house is decorated beautifully in keeping,.. and so clean! The owner has though of all the necessary things you would need for cooking/ washing and including things to keep the children entertained!! We are already thinking about planning our next stay at River Cottage. Thankyou for a lovely break :-)
