The Quintessential village of Frampton on Severn is steeped in history with many pretty cottages that front the famous Rosamund s Green where you can sit by the ponds or watch cricket on The Green, perfect for walking with paths in and around the village to include a short walk to Saul Junction where the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal meets the Stroudwater Canal and was a great meeting place for ships and crew, as this was the route that the tall ships took from the River Severn to Gloucester Docks a few miles up the canal.

Also, within easy reach is The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, as well as Berkeley Castle, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and Westonbirt Arboretum. And for a more cultured day, the spa towns of Bath and Cheltenham, or Gloucester and Bristol both with restored docks where you can enjoy the restaurants and cafes.
