Bourton-on-the-Water is located in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village dates back to Neolithic times with over 100 buildings being Grade II listed. Within the village you will find a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as the River Windrush. Attractions include The Model Village, Cotswold Motor Museum, Birdland Park and Gardens as well as a Dragonfly Maze.

Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

Simply a great place, in the best possible location..

Although accommodation was for 6 adults there was little wardrobe space to cover staying for a longer period than 4 nights.. One of the second floor bedrooms had no wardrobe, just a few coat hooks on a wall. The room was really to small to fit 2 single beds in and in doing this you couldn’t shut the door, so very little privacy. However we did enjoy our stay and the cottage location was very good, only a few minutes walk into the main town area. Final comment, because of the smallness of the bedroom we would not stay here again or recommend it to friends if they were a party of 6 people
