This three-storey holiday cottage has two bedrooms, a second-floor king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom and an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and coffee machine, and for entertainment there is a Smart TV and WiFi. Outside, there is off-road parking for one car with additional roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis and public, pay-and-display parking 150 yards from the property, and an enclosed, rear garden with gravelled area and furniture. Fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. One well-behaved dog is welcome.£25 Pet Supplement per pet per stay. But sorry, this is a smoke-free property. You can find a shop and pub within 0.4 miles. Please note that due to the age of the property there are some lower ceilings throughout. Barton Cottage makes a lovely Cotswold escape.

The historic village of Bourton-on-the-Water, located in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, dates back to Neolithic times and has over 100 Grade II listed or higher buildings. The lovely high street nestles against the River Windrush, which is crossed by several low stone bridges, which is why Bourton-on-the-Water is known as the Cotswolds' Venice. An annual football competition is held in the summer in the River Windrush, with the banks lined with fans, with the purpose of scoring as many goals as possible while getting as wet as possible!

Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
