This cottage is conveniently close to Wealden Trail allowing walkers and cyclists to explore the countryside. The village of Frant is situated three miles from the town of Tunbridge Wells, which is home to The Pantiles, an area which houses over 70 independent stores, from pavement cafes to restaurants and jazz music. Also available is a guided walking tour to discover the town’s ancient history. Near the border of Sussex and Kent are a number of ancient castles, stately home and gardens as well as welcoming country pubs. Brighton is the south coast’s closest seaside town and is within driving distance.

Kent is affectionately known as the Garden of England. Its history and heritage provide the region with a rich array of sightseeing possibilities, while the stunning choice of Blue Flag beaches offer the chance to enjoy the beautiful coastline.

We booked this cottage for two weeks as part of our UK holiday.. It was a comfortable, coy place to relax after a day of visiting Sissinghurst and many other Sussex and Kent historical sights. It is completely self contained and has everything you need even if you want to cook, which we did not. The owner was available, if needed, but you have total privacy. Sitting in the beautiful courtyard was a joy. Highly recommended by My Wife and I.
