On arriving at this lovely cottage, which was originally built for the gardeners of Beauport estate, the cottage is accessed either via a steep set of steps that leads you down a secluded pathway to the front door or use the other access from Battle Road which has 3 even steps and a slight slope ideal for prams/pushchairs. Enter into the charming lounge, which features two comfy sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, surrounding a Smart TV to enjoying watching your favourite programmes after a busy day. The kitchen/diner beyond is well equipped with everything you may need for whipping up a delicious family meal before gathering everyone together at the dining table with seating for four where on a chilly evening you can light the electric wood burner effect stove for extra ambiance and warmth. Heading up to the first floor you will find two bedrooms: a king size and a twin room. The property is completed with a family bathroom. Please not the staircase is steep. Outside, the cottage is approached via a set of steps from the pretty front garden, which has a naturally wild area for encouraging bees and the local wildlife. Relax in the hammock strung between two trees with a good book and listen to the local birdsong, while the stunning pebbled garden at the rear of the house has been beautifully planted and features a handmade bar area with charcoal BBQ, a wood fired pizza oven and patio table and chairs for al fresco dining.
