Willow Cottage is an all ground floor cottage attached to the owner's home in the hamlet of Ulrome near Skipsea. The cottage sleeps two people in one double bedroom and a shower room. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking and a private garden with outdoor furniture and a hot tub. Just a mile from the beach and the seaside village of Skipsea, Willow Cottage is a superb romantic retreat, all year round. The village of Skipsea is situated in the Yorkshire Wolds, in a typically rural setting surrounded by rich, agricultural land, yet Skipsea also sits within one mile of the beach and is close to the cliffs of the North Sea.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

A gem of a cottage with everything required provided and hosts who are warm and welcoming, but leave you to yourself if that is what you like.. Well maintained and clean, but anyone over 5ft. 5ins needs to watch their head, as interior doors are low!!!! Hot tub at a temperature which makes it a joy to use. Although within the grounds of the owners abode, privacy is maintained, with the added extra of undercover parking in the open sided barn. Well worth a visit.

We had a fabulous stay at Willow cottage and loved the hot tub . The cottage was immaculately clean and their was a lovely welcome pack of fresh eggs , tea , coffee sugar biscuits and milk in the fridge . Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful . We loved the area , you could walk in either direction one way came via a caravan site where there is a shop and pub and then on to Skipsea where there is a pub that served delicious food and was very welcoming . We also walked the other way to Barmston where there is another pub and we sat in the garden for a drink . There's also lots of places to visit a short drive away , we used the park and ride into Scarborough and used the local bus from our cottage fo Bridlington and there are lots of market towns close by , we also liked Hornsea . We had an excellent week and we were lucky with the weather, the cottage had everything we needed and was a real home from home , thankyou for a lovely stay .

Willow cottage is beautiful and well equipped and very clean with a lovely garden to sit out in , the hot tub is amazing and lovely to relax in .. There are lots of places to visit by car and we also used the bus service to Bridlington and the park and ride into Scarborough, also if you like walking their are walks from the cottage .The hosts Karen and Sean are very helpful and friendly , it is a delightful cottage to stay in and a lovely area to visit .

Absolutely loved our holiday at Willow Cottage.. Very well equipped, with comfy bed and nice hot tub. Karen was a lovely hostess, despite going through a rough time, she was always friendly and helpful. The cottage is in an excellent location for all the nearby attractions. If we wanted to visit the area again we would return here despite the low doorways which my poor hubby cracked his head on twice and has still got bruises to show for it! Enjoying the beautiful free range eggs which we bought to bring home.

The surrounding areas and local village and food places are fantastic really made my weekend, the owners were extremely friendly and always knew how to help. Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location. The cottage is well equipt and very clean. There are lots of thoughtful little extras like wood and kindling for the log burner, teas, coffees, biscuits and eggs. In the wardrobe, we found some beautiful robes which were perfect when using the hot tub. The hot tub is easy to set up and use and is a lovely extra. The highlight of our trip was sitting in it at night and gazing up at the stars. will be stopping again!

Spent 5 nights here and gutted to be going home. Cottage is lovely and quirky and very nicely converted .with loads of original features. High standard interior and just as nice on the out side .hottub is lovely and private and best way to relax after a bizzy day .the owners are super friendly and happy to assist when needed. Having a late break in November in Willow Cottage was lovely; we were first greated by a spotlessly clean cottage with a roaring fire in the logburner. The cottage comes with a large outdoor hottub, usable anytime; we were in the hottub watching the sun set more than once. Everything was lovely and the bed was comfortable, I will definitely go again.

My partner and I have just returned from staying at this cottage for 3 nights and we had a fantastic time. The cottage is small but ideal for 2 people it has everything you need for your stay. It is next to the owners property but you still have privacy as there is a fence that separates you. The owner Karen is there if you need her and she is friendly and helpful. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the bed is so comfy. The hot tub is great and available at any time. There is free roaming chickens around the garden so you have the opportunity to purchase the eggs which we recommend. The nearest pub to walk to is 1 mile along the country road so make sure you take a torch to guide you. The pub itself is a different review!! We would definitely return to Willow Cottage.

The property owners are extremely nice people; they went out of their way to make us welcome and they were very helpful and friendly. We had a very quiet and relaxing time and the extensive large grassed area, with its trees, duck pond and chickens, was a pleasure to stroll and sit in. A superbly presented cottage in an ideal location. The hot tub was ideal for relaxing after days out and about and the wood burner was very efficient and fun to use. We stayed for a week in early October in this superbly equipped one bedroom cottage. The cottage is very well decorated with very comfortable furniture including an amazing king size bed. The cottage also has a hot tub which is a great addition and is very private. The location is ideal, less than an hours drive from York, Scarborough, and Whitby which are all lovely. The owners are very friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble. We highly recommend this cottage for a short break. The
