The pretty village of Kilham is idyllically situated amidst the scenic Yorkshire Wolds countryside, 7 miles from the colourful town of Driffield. Once an important market town, the village today provides two pubs, a local store, a Post Office and two churches The surrounding countryside offers plenty of walking and cycling opportunities, whilst nearby Driffield provides a variety of shops and tea rooms together with a twice-weekly market.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Our stay at Lena Cottage was absolutely amazing! A beautiful quirky little cottage with bags of character! The place was spotless and is very apparent that it is a very loved place by it's owner! Jo is lovely and very helpful. The pub across the road (The Bay Horse) does THE most fantastic homemade food! (The steak is HIGHLY recommended!). The cottage had lots of added extras which was so lovely, such as; a range of DVDs, games and books, biscuits and teabags/coffee etc. Jo has also put together a very informative folder of local attractions and amenities. A beautiful stay and will be visiting again for sure!

Quirky cottage steep stairs but noted in booking advert.. lovely village with two pubs and friendly people. milk and biscuits were left nice touch .lovely holiday

The cottage was clean and functional.. As detailed in the description, the stairs are very steep and the twin bedroom door is really low but we had to use this room as the bed in the double room is not full size and only just fits in the room. Our son was very happy to use that room. The garden is a lovely size but not private and not secure enough to leave dogs.

The cottage was so cosy the owner had equipped the cottage well we didn't need .... The cottage was so cosy the owner had equipped the cottage well we didn't need to take anything but ourselves and our clothing everything else was there, just one thing lacking was a freezer but it did not affect our holiday
