Willow Lodge is a superb base resting within the village of South Cave. Within the ground-floor accommodation, you will find a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is also a family bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower, freestanding bath, basin and WC. Moving through the property, you will find a spacious sitting room with a woodburning fire, leading into a kitchen/diner. Outside, you will find a sheltered hot tub area and a lawn space with football nets. Guests will also have access to a large fishing lake and ample off-road parking. Mainly ground-floor. Two bedrooms; 1 x bedroom with super king size bed, 1 x mezzanine twin bedroom with low ceilings (not suitable for taller people). Bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bath, basin and WC. Wet room with shower and WC. Kitchen/dining room. Sitting room with woodburning fire.

Area
The historic village of South Cave, rests in the East Riding of Yorkshire and is 13 miles West from Hull. Within the village you will find a wealth of shops, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms, a Post Office and a bank, and a monthly farmers’ market. From the village you will be able to explore the Yorkshire Wolds Way long distance trail and visit the larger towns of Beverley and Market Weighton which are within a short drive.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

No smoking (including outdoor areas). One well behaved dog welcome. Shop within 0.4 miles and pub within 1.3 miles. Please note: This property do not accept hen/stag or similar parties. Just had a gorgeous 3 night stay at willow lodge in south cave. Pictures on skye cottages website don't do it justice so thought I would upload some as this is important to me when making a holiday booking. The lodge was spotless and had everything there you could need. Super cosy and the master bed was very comfortable. The large enclosed garden and hot tub was amazing for my dog rosie who loved it. The lodge itself is a great size, the log burner is super cosy I will definitely be back at winter one time to make use of its full potential. Cant fault the place, such cute cottage vibes. We visited Hotham arms for food one night which was lovely and had a lovely Chinese from south cave Chinese. Hull centre is about a 25 minute drive. Just to top the holiday off we got engaged here! First visited Willow Lodge in 2019 and just returned from our 5th visit. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful to recharge your batteries this is the place to stay. It has everything you need and more, lovely hot tub, big log burner, comfy sofa and bed. Lovely owners who have thought of everything to ensure their guests have a great stay. Well done Emma and Darren we had a fab time and will be back.

Had a lovely week stay at this cottage, this is very spacious and clean and the hot tub is a bonus its still outside but sheltered if weather isn't good , in easy reach of days out around Yorkshire, and the owners are so friendly and very welcoming, highly recommended

Booked through Sykes Cottages, family of 4 break in August. "Wow! “ is what we all said upon entering, it's so big. The photos online don't do the place justice, it is beautiful & luxurious. The beds were so comfy, the roll top bath was lovely, the living room was gorgeous and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Its undercover so the rain can't spoil it & has lovely fairy lights on the canopy. The grounds are stunning too with a fishing lake and geese. The owners live next door but they are in no way invasive. We met owners father whilst we were walking by the lake & he very kindly informed us there was fishing rods which our boys could use should they wish to. They had a blast doing this! Would highly recommend this lovely place.

We booked willow lodge for our 1st wedding anniversary for 2 nights found through sykes cottages . The photos of the cottage looked beautiful and the hot tub and large garden did it for us as we took our 2 daughters . This cottage is just perfection , the interior is beautiful and absolutely spotless. Our 2 daughters were made up with th cupboards and boxes of games and toy's and dvds and there's also a little tree house in the garden full of outdoor games and toy's too . The cottage is so well equipped,so there's no need to take your own towels , bedding , etc... it has everthing you could possibly need . The hot tub was all set up ready for us and was lovely on a evening and the location is so peaceful and relaxing . This was a 5 star stay for us , one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and we would go back in a heartbeat .
