Wee Woody is a charming detached bungalow just outside the village of Cottingham in Yorkshire. The cottage can sleep two people in one double bedroom as well as a shower room. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed side Astro Turf garden with patio and furniture. Wee Woody is a lovely property in a fabulous part of the country suitable at any time of the year.

Area
The pretty village of Cottingham lies in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Cottingham has a small high street with a selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Cottingham is within easy reach of the pretty coastal resorts of Hornsea, Bridlington and Filey, and is an hour's drive from York. The shops, restaurants, theatre, cinema and museums of Kingston upon Hull are easily accessed from Cottingham, including The Deep, the nationally renowned ‘submarium’.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Enclosed side AstroTurf garden with patio and furniture The garden is a two step walk from the property is not directly outside the back door. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.6 miles, golf clubhouse with bar and restaurant 5 mins walk. Note: Property is situated on the grounds of a golf course.

It was a lovely, quiet cottage which resulted in a very relaxing break.. There are places to visit with a short drive from the property and we would recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a peaceful holiday.

Really clean, treat on arrival for the dog.. Milk, tea and coffee were a nice touch. Everything you'd need for a shirt break

Nearly perfect! Cottage was very clean with good facilities. The owner was extremely helpful at all times. Lovely little touches such as tea, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival. Plus little treats left for our dog. It was in an ideal location for us for visiting family and friends. As it is on a golf course there was very little noise and extremely quite during the night so no disturbances. Only one problem was the bed, very clean but extremely soft and the bed frame was unstable. Suggest that if the bed was to be changed it could be up graded to a king size, we are not big people but found it to be a small double? Also a small ironing board and iron would have been useful. We will definitely stay again when visiting family and would highly recommend the cottage.

Great base loads to see and visit

The cottage was perfect for our holiday, with one small exception.. The bed; although the mattress appeared to be new, the frame / base was ancient and had no structure. Consequently it was like sleeping on a water bed - not a good nights sleep. We would go back if there was a more solid bed frame without any hesitation. Also, the owner was so helpful and we were really grateful to her when we need help over and above our reservation. We would recommend Wee Woody without a doubt.

Really lovely cottage in a quiet setting; everything was clean, well stocked and tidy.. The location is great as it is just a few minutes drive to Cottingham and there are lots of lovely walks for the dog. Dexter (the dog) settled in really quickly and loved his little treats. We'd definitely stay again, thankyou!

Wee Woody was lovely, it was a short notice break at New Year and was so easy to book.. We had a query about taking 2 dogs and it was answered straight away. When we arrived the owner dropped us some milk off, we had a couple of tiny issues and they were resolved immediately. The owner was so helpful and accommodating. The accommodation was spotless, cosy and well equipped. My husband, myself and the 2 dogs had a great time
