Stable Cottage is a character, luxury cottage in the village of Withernwick, near Hornsea in Yorkshire. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms, which are made up of a king-size double and a twin as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area. To the outside is ample off road parking and a shared courtyard with a private garden area with a hot tub. Set in stunning countryside, Stable Cottage is a great place for a superb holiday at any time of the year.

Area
Withernwick is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire situated 10 miles north-east of Hull city centre and 5 miles south of Hornsea. It is an ancient village mentioned in the Doomsday Book with the Falcon Inn being a rare survival of a traditional country pub. Withernwick is within easy reach of some great seaside towns, with Hornsea being about five miles away. Hornsea has long, safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Great cottage, nicely furnished.. Garden is enclosed which makes it ideal for dogs and children. Within easy reach of many beaches and places of interest. We visited Spurn, Burton Constable and Withernsea. The hot tub is the perfect treat after a day walking. The village pub does great food. Highly recommended.

Stable Cottage left us wanting for nothing.. Everything you think you need for a get away is provided with more. We met the owners who are lovely people. They made us feel very welcome. This is the best holiday home we have stayed in. We loved the big safe enclosed garden. The cottage gets 10+++ out of 10 from us.

An excellent well appointed cottage, with a beautiful very secure garden.. We loved the little extras - robes to walk to the hot tub, dog towels, milk and biscuits. Had a fantastic stay and the cottage is close the coast.

Really enjoyed a week away here at stable cottage ! Ideal place to chill out with the puppy dog ! Lots of fields near by for walkies !! Hot tub was lovely and garden very private and fab for the dog ! Many thanks ..would definitely recommend !

We loved the cottage, it was just what we needed, peace and quiet alongside everything in the cottage we could possibly need for a weeks stay.. The cottage was lovely and homely and very tastefully decorated with a lovely enclosed sunken garden that the dog loved. The hot tub was a lovely end to a busy day exploring with a seating area deliberately placed in the evening sunshine to make the most of the weather.

Stable Cottage was perfect.. Everything you could possibly need and immaculately presented. Hornsea is a very short drive away and tesco/beach easy to find. Although Hornsea does have sand it is quite stony so useful to bring shoes that are waterproof. Hot tub was wonderful asset as you could sit in and enjoy the wafting smell of jasmine plants and watch the local birds swoop overhead - complete bliss.

The attention to detail in the cottage decor and cleanliness was exceptional.. The garden area and hot tub are an absolute pleasure, even in April in the rain! We were welcomed with milk, jam, coffee and tea etc on arrival and found everything we could possibly need in the cupboards. The smart TV was a particular hit with our teenagers, who watch several films in the evenings. The beds were lovely and comfy and the bathroom was clean and bright. The local area is beautiful. Unfortunately, the local pub is not dog friendly anymore, but the Marine in Hornsea is and we enjoyed a meal and a football match there. We were in the perfect place to visit Beverley, Bridlington an Scarborough amongst others and found Hornsea itself great for watching the waves crash in and getting takeaways, eating in little dog friendly cafes and of course Tesco for the essentials. A very varied holiday encompassing everything from Speed boat rides to lazy book reading in the hot tub. Lovely holiday with lots of great memories, would recommend.

Great stay in a lovely cottage, the photos don't do it justice.. Very friendly owners left milk, fruit, tea, coffee, biscuits and ice cream for our arrival. Nice walks with the dog from the cottage and all enjoyed the hot tub.
