Foxes Den is a charming, single-storey lodge resting in Winston near Staindrop, Durham. Hosting one king-size double bedroom, along with a shower room, this property can sleep two guests. There is also an open-plan living space with a kitchen and sitting area with a gas fire. Outside there is private parking and a front garden with decking, furniture and hot tub. Foxes Den is a lovely dwelling, ideal for a romantic escape to the wonderful countryside of Durham. Please be aware due to remote location WiFi can occasionally be intermittent service.

The picturesque village of Staindrop is greatly associated with its history of Raby Castle and its owners. Raby Castle is renowned as one of the grandest in the country and offers a 200 acre deer park to explore. Staindrop is home to fascinating shops, pubs and cafes. Nearby is the bustling town of Barnard Castle, where you can visit the Bowes Museum or tour the castle, as well as sample the lovely tea rooms. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy the plethora of nature walks in Teesdale.
