We stayed at the house for a week with our 2 year old. It suited us perfectly.
The little garden was great to have a little play and sunbathe after a day out.
We walked to most places from the house as was an easy walk. Took about 20 mins max to get into Weymouth town centre. Lots of lovely restaurants, sandy beach. The toilets by the beach were so clean for public toilets.
There's a few bus stops on the main road bu the house if you didn't want to walk it.
The other direction is a short walk to the Sealife centre, park and other activities which are all worth visiting.
The kitchen was well equipped although bring your own kitchen roll and another t-towel.
You'll also need to bring your own toilet roll. We managed to find 1 toilet roll for the whole house when we arrived after a long journey. Luckily, there's a Tesco Express 2 min walk from the house. You just walk down the alley/path next to the house and your by all the "convenient" shops (left to Tesco).
The house was pretty clean. I'm not sure why they needed the extra 2 hours before we could check in as not gleaming but acceptable. The kitchen table and showers needed a good detol wipe.
If you like your room to be very dark there are no black out curtains or blinds in the rooms and very noisy seagulls that land on the roof of the attic room in the mornings. But neither bothered us that much. We found the rooms very comfortable and spacious and all slept very well.
I would definitely recommend this house as a place to stay. The location is great being just outside the town centre, so much quieter than being right in town. It was a lovely place to call our "holdiay" home for a week.
