The cottage has three bedrooms 2 x double (with en-suite) and 1 x super king-size (can be made as twin) and a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up with a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area overlooking the harbour. Three bedrooms: 1 x ground floor double with en-suite shower, basin and toilet, 1 x ground floor twin single can be changed to a king-size double, 1 x second floor double with en-suite shower, basin and toilet. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. First floor kitchen. First floor sitting room with dining area.

Area
This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach. Brewers Quay is a much loved location in Weymouth.

Excellent location right on the harbour , could do with some updating but we had an excellent holiday ,it also could do with a good clean all the way through but didn't spoil anything

We've just returned from a weeks holiday and wanted to say how fantastic our stay in Buccaneer Cottage has been. A perfect location. Facilities at the cottage were first class, all you could want and in excellent condition. It was clean and a wonderful shout out for the owner who was very generous when sorting out a minor problem hours before our arrival. Just a pity that the prices have increased so much I can't see us being able to book for next year otherwise we'd have rebooked whilst we were there. It's a busy location but by 21:30 no cars or people disturbed us and the first people passing by in the morning did so at a reasonable hour.

We stayed here as two families of three generations. Very clean and great views of the harbour and the comings and goings of boats for the children. Steps away from pubs cafes and shops. Ten minute walk to beaches and coves. Very dog friendly everywhere. Only niggle was the kitchen was very small considering the size of the property but only cooking breakfasts it wasnt too much of a problem. Anyone wanting a central position will do no better than this property. Highly recommended

We had a great long weekend.. The view of the old harbour was excellent and the house is very comfortable with everything you need, including tea, coffee and milk all provided on arrival! Brilliant location for the Nothe Gardens, pubs around the harbour all serving food and a short walk to the beach. We would definitely like to stay at the Buccaneer Cottage again.

Thank you to the owners and Dream Cottages for once again providing us with an ideal accommodation for a family break.. This is the 5th time we have used the facilities at Buccaneer Cottage and as in the past have been more than satisfied. Unusually there were two small negatives this year, the first was that there was no spare key and the second that it was a puzzle that the cutlery drawer could not be opened without first opening the oven door, as this has never been a problem on our past visits I can only assume that a new oven has been fitted although this is not obvious. However, this did not distract from the fact that this is an ideal accommodation for a family get together, the harbour side location could not be bettered and the proximity to the nearby eating establishments and pubs is good and the impressive nearby Nothe Gardens with its walks and views is superb, add on to that the Weymouth shopping centre and beach is only a short walk away and you have the ideal holiday location. Once again, thank you.

Would’ve appreciated some form of Christmas decoration so close to ‘The Event’.. The views from the house were better than we expected, and it was so nice to park the car and not worry about parking tickets for the duration of our stay with the permit provided. Walking to shops, beach, pubs etc was easy. The very funny panto at The Pavilion perfectly topped off our stay. Loved our time there and nobody had any grumbles. We will return.

Outstanding position.. Party of 5 who had a fab Christmas 2018. Warm and cosy, with a welcome pack to start us off on a brilliant holiday. Lots to see and fantastic walks especially to chisell beach. Christmas day swim was a bonus to watch with a perfect view from the cottage. Would definately book this cottage again and highly recommend to anyone.
