Surfers come from all over the country to enjoy the great waves, while rookies can also hire a board or take a lesson from one of the friendly local surf schools and revel in the waves. Further afield you can visit the picturesque villages of Saunton, Croyde and Braunton, which are known for their sandy beaches and some of the best surf this country has to offer.
