Watch glass being blown at Dartington Crystal before enjoying a traditional Devon cream tea in the adjoining restaurant. Other interesting places to visit include Clovelly, a cliff side fishing village with steep cobbled streets leading down to the harbour. The market town of Bideford with its weekly pannier market, Burton Art Gallery, Victoria Park and historic quayside are worth a look. For those who enjoy walking or cycling the Tarka Trail (a former railway line which runs from Braunton Meeth) is nearby and offers a safe and level walkway for children and adults alike, with a few welcome watering holes along the way. You will be situated within easy driving distance to both Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks.
