Area A nice pub can be found in Whiddon Down, which is also close to Chagford and one of the main entrances to Dartmoor, Okehampton. Chagford, a charming hamlet in Devon at the northernmost point of Dartmoor National Park, is compact in size but brimming with attractions. There are four taverns and a variety of stores. Additionally, Chagford offers more energetic amenities including a public tennis court and an outdoor swimming pool that you can use whenever you choose. It is a must-see for any tourist to Dartmoor due to its fantastic location, stunning structures from the 15th and 16th centuries, chic independent stores, arts and crafts, world-class events, and restaurants. A visit is undoubtedly worthwhile if you enjoy fine food, unusual pubs and lodging options, literary connections, a wealth of Dartmoor folklore, and amiable inhabitants. The town is rich in narratives and history.
