Area
Teignmouth in South Devon offers plenty to see and do including a lovely sandy beach, working harbour, a Victorian pier, water play park, mini golf and a bowling green. The breathtaking Dartmoor National Park is a walkers haven, plus the city of Exeter is close by. There are delightful harbour towns nearby such as Brixham, and the zoo at Paignton, well worth exploring.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

A lovely house, well presented and extremely comfortable. Quality furnishings with everything needed for a self catering holiday. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms have plenty of storage. The outside seating area is very pleasant and the property is a short walk into the town centre. Parking can be a slight problem in the evening but we booked the garage which is across the road from the property and costs £25 per week. Sykes arrange this via the owner and is suitable for a small car. We loved our stay and do not hesitate to recommend it. Our favourite places to eat were the Crab Shack, L’Invidia a small family run Italian restaurant and the Jolly Sailor for Sunday lunch, booking is recommended as popular places are as you would expect very busy. We used the train and bus to travel to other resorts and found this very convenient. A little treasure which won’t disappoint.

Just had a really great stay at sunvale would highly recommend it,everything provided for self catering holiday not that we did any cooking as only 10 minutes from town centre with loads of choice for eating out.,the house is beautifully presented and welcoming, back courtyard is a suntrap,hope to go back next year

The Cottage was even better than expected everything you need on holiday very tastefully decorated and very comfy beds.. The owner was very helpful would highly recommend also close to the railway station.

The Cottage is beautiful, everything you could possible want, comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe space and drawers, and lots of towels.. A lovely modern Kitchen with everything you need, including a dishwasher. Only a short walk to the Town and there are bus stops at the end of the road to take you to either Torquay, Exeter or Newton Abbott.

Excellent holiday home.. Clean, modern, fresh and comfortable. My only down point would be the lack of parking on the street. Not a big problem for most but with a baby and a toddler is wasn’t easy.

The accommodation itself is outstanding.. Clean, modern and equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The only issue is the lack of on street parking but that is something which the owners cannot do anything about and is for the local council to sort.
