The Regency village of Shaldon sits on the opposite bank of the town of Teignmouth in South Devon, and its coastal location hosts many tourists all year round. The seaside village is home to a range of shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, with tourist attractions including a small zoo, Shaldon Botanical Gardens and Shaldon Approach Golf Club. The seaside town of Torquay is just under four miles away, known for its beaches.
