Carthorse Cottage is a barn converted cottage in Luton, Devon. It has five bedrooms including three double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, two bedrooms have en-suite facilities as well as the cottage having three family shower rooms, it can sleep ten people. Also inside you will find a kitchen/diner, sitting room with a woodburning stove, indoor swimming pool and a games room. Outside is off road parking for six cars and on-site is the owner's Site of Special Scientific Interest with a stream, two ponds, a play area and picnic benches as well as a barbecue. Area
The village is split by a stream that runs into the River Teign. Luton is surrounded by scenery as well as thatched buildings. Luton is home to a gastro-pub. There is the stunning St. John the Evangelist church as well as a riding centre and a homeware gift shop. There is also a cider farm. There is some excellent destinations nearby, all very popular with tourists and all with easy driving distance. There is a good range of destinations from the busy city of Exeter to the delightful Newton Abbott and Exmouth on the coast.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
