Halfway between Teignmouth and Dawlish, this converted coach house gets top marks for location. Stroll down Smuggler's Lane, and you'll be on the beach in five minutes – that's pretty hard to beat. Back home, the upside-down layout makes the most of the space, giving families and friends plenty of room to settle in. Our favourite feature is the two sun-kissed decks – perfect for morning coffees, alfresco lunches, and evening sundowners. You'll also be able to make use of the communal garden that boasts stunning sea views.Home truths:
