Orchard Barn is a detached cottage on a farm near the Devon village of St Giles on the Heath. The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms, two double and a single, with a bathroom and downstairs shower room. On the ground floor is a hall, a sitting room and a smart kitchen with dining area. Outside is an enclosed garden with lawn and sunny terrace, as well as acres of woodland to walk. Just over a mile from the village and located on the border between Devon and Cornwall, Orchard Barn is an excellent base for a fascinating Devon holiday.

It is such a relaxing place and the owners are so friendly and helpful.. The cottage has everything you need with excellent WiFi. But true as described by them in cottage information prior to booking, none or very little phone signal unless you walk up the lane. You can however make contact through WhatsApp. Overall a fabulous, most enjoyable stay.

The cottage is lovely.. Modern, bright, clean, well equipped and with a great layout perfect for a family. It's on a working farm too so our girls loved waking up to baby lambs every day! Vanessa and Adrian are very welcoming. We appreciated the cream tea left out for us on the first day! Vanessa also took us around the farm on a little tour which the girls loved. Would highly recommend this cottage as a base for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. Hope to go back one day soon!

I would be happy to recommend this property as the hospitality of the owners was excellent and they were extremely friendly.. One criticism would be how the garden is portrayed on your website. It looks a lot bigger in the literature than it really is and this can be very disappointing for prospective clients - a clearer picture of the garden would be helpful.
