The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite shower room and a twin serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is off-road parking available and a private decking with furniture, Within 2.5 miles there is a shop and 1.1 miles a pub. One well-behaved dog welcome, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Woodpecker Lodge is an idyllic setting for a getaway in Devon. Note: There are steps up to the lodge, please take care.

The Devonian town of Sheepwash can be found in the tranquil Torridge Valley. There is a general store and a homely traditional pub with good food and locally brewed ales in the village square. Located in the heart of Ruby Trail Country and not far from the Tarka Trail or the coast, Sheepwash is a great place to stay for hikers and nature enthusiasts. Take a stroll along the Torridge River and keep your eyes peeled for a family of otters or two Kingfishers. Bude, Clovelly, Bideford, and Westward Ho! are just a few of the coastal towns in the area that are worth visiting for their classic seaside activities, surfing, and access to the South West Coastal Path. There is a wide range of family-friendly and romantic day trip options nearby, including Dartmoor, the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and the RHS Rosemoor at Great Torrington.
