Description
Overlooking the Salcombe estuary, the peaceful outdoor area of this stunning duplex home gives way to some of the most beautiful views of the water and the ferries sailing upon it. With a charcoal barbecue and ample seating, alfresco dining seems an obvious choice when you're not stopping off at one of the waterfront inns. Though the sloping ceilings might bother taller guests, the first floor allows for a little more stretch. That's a check on comfort, location and aesthetics, which only leaves who gets to sit on the egg chair up for debate.
Home truths: *The second floor's sloping ceilings might not be comfortable for taller guests. *Your host can provide a parking permit for one vehicle at a nearby long-stay car park. There isn't an EV charge at the home, but you'll find one a short walk away. *There are stairs to climb here, so it won't be the best option for those with limited mobility. *South Devon is known for patchy phone coverage, so you might find that the phone signal weakens from time to time. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay.
