Marine Cottage is a detached, three-storey cottage in the town of Salcombe. The cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms which are made up of one double with an en-suite and one second floor room with double sofa bed with en-suite which has panoramic estuary views, and two twin rooms. There is also a bathroom, a ground floor cloakroom, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with a patio and furniture. Marine Cottage is a wonderful house offering excellent accommodation in a delightful location at any time of year. Please note: Residential family bookings only.

Area
Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip?

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
