Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.

This is a regular booking for us, we love to return to Lee Shore in Salcombe year after year, it almost feels like our 'home from home'.. The location of the cottage is perfect and the water views from the lounge window, an added bonus. We'll be back... :-)

A great choice for a week over Christmas.. A really snug and cosy little house,totally fitting the bill in every way. So handy for everything; breakfast croissants from the Bakehouse opposite really delicious! After a misty couple of days,we enjoyed lovely coastal walks with picnic lunches, and a visit to Greenway on the Dart...daffodils blooming! We hope to return but definitely not in the summer months!

Very steep stairs up to the living room from the hallway.. I didn't have any real problems but needed to take care. I think this should be made clear to customers who might have some difficulty with this. I would have liked a small table at which to eat rather than just a bar stool next to a counter. Other than this a very comfortable and convenient location.
