Area
Lifton is a village in the upper Tamar Valley, close to Launceston. It offers a shop and Post Office, a pub and three restaurants. It also has a farm shop/pick-your-own complex with a bakery and restaurant. Dartmoor and Bodmin are close, for countryside enthusiasts, while Launcestock, Tavistock and more are also worth visiting.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

It should be made clearer that the cottage is adjoined to the main house.. This isn't clear on reading the listing and looking at photos. Lovely, warm, homely comfy cottage in a great location.Bathrooms need updating and could have been cleaner. Wifi is sporadic at best.

There was a fault with the heating,you could not control it.. A lovely cottage but could have been cleaner. Hosts where very friendly. Overall an enjoyable stay and would stay again

A deep rural position, magnificent views, a lovely garden set in the countryside with a fabulous natural pond ( mini-lake ) in the woods accessed from the garden and a charming cottage adding to the image of a rural idyll.. Yet, follow he country lane and before you know it you reach the main arterial roads and all tourist spots are easily accessible.
