SeaSound is a wonderful apartment based in Ilfracombe, Devon. All room are on the second floor. It has two bedrooms: one king-size with en-suite shower room and one twin (zip/link), sleeping four people, with a family bathroom. Down the hall is an open-plan living room with a fitted kitchen and dining area. There is a small balcony area with furniture. Roadside parking is available and a nearby car park. SeaSound is an excellent property for small families.

Ilfracombe is a seaside resort and civil parish in Devon, England, situated on the North coast. The harbour boasts the Hillsborough Hill landmark, which is on the site of an Iron Age fortified settlement. Offering many historical buildings such as the 17th century lighthouse and the 14th century chapel. This bustling town has a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as extensive picturesque beaches.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Shop 0.6 miles and pub 0.1 miles. Beach and coast 0.1 miles. Please note, there are up 42 internal stairs to get to the property, and As such, it may not be suitable for those with serious mobility issues.

Apartment is absolutely gorgeous and the photos don’t do it justice how nice it really is!! Views and sunsets are unbelievable!! Location amazing no need to drive anywhere unless going out the area for the day as everything on your doorstep!! Great location for day trips down the coast!! Had an amazing holiday…the apartment and Ilfracombe are beautiful!! Would definitely recommend and I will be back :)

This was our second time staying at SeaSound, we just had to come back! Seasound has incredible views from the huge bay windows and you can spend hours just watching the waves crash on the rocks and the patterns of the sea, all from the comfort of the chaise lounges. The apartment itself is finished to a high standard and the owners have thought of everything for the comfort and convenience of their guests. Super comfy bed, hot showers and a well equipped kitchen make it an excellent place to come back to after a day exploring the coast. Ilfracombe has a range of excellent restaurants and shops, we visited out of season and there is still plenty to do and places to eat. The north Devon coast is very dramatic and a great place for visiting Woolacombe and many hidden beaches and picturesque walks. Highly recommend a stay at SeaSound to experience the best of Ilfracombe!

Fantastic location and views in a lovely modern apartment.. Very clean and everything you need is there. Parking a little difficult however that seems to be normal in this town so a parking voucher was definately the way to go for the week. Would definately recommend to friends and family

Very special apartment, just that bit extra.. The photos on the Sykes site are great but cannot do justice to the changing views out to sea. Everything in the apartment was well planned and with a touch of luxury from super comfy beds, expensive towels and box of hand made chocs on arrival. Ilfracombe is a fabulous spot with wonderful coastal walks to Combe Martin and Woolacombe (look out for seals) - the walk from Watersmeet to Lynton/Lynmouth is also beautiful. Great choice of restaurants and cafes from the up market to the local Wetherspoons (great breakfast on the last morning). We were lucky enough to see harbour porpoises out to sea on our final day. Just cannot fault this holiday home for quality or location. Hoping to go back very soon.

We had an absolute amazing stay at SeaSound.. The quality of the apartment exceeded my already high expectations, the owners had thought of everything for the guests comfort. After a long evening drive from London, sinking into the very comfy bed was bliss. Waking up the next day and enjoying a coffee to the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks and watching the ever changing patterns of the sea made the past busy week at work seem like a million miles away. We had a two year old in tow and the apartment was very child friendly, the second bedroom had enough space for a cot which the hosts provided as well as children’s crockery and a high chair. Ilfracombe itself is a great little town with some fantastic restaurants and coastline. It’s a very convenient base for sightseeing along the coast too. We loved the area and are already craving to return to SeaSound!
