Seascapes is located within the landmark building Granville Point that overlooks the sea and the north Devon seaside town of Ilfracombe. With unsurpassed views of the sea from the elevated position, the apartment is ideally placed just a short walk downhill towards the town centre, harbour, shops and restaurants and the famous Tunnels Beaches. Arranged over two floors with three ground floor bedroom the apartment can accommodate five guests. The master benefits from an en-suite shower room and there is a further family bathroom. On the first floor the living space is light and airy with patio doors at each end of the room leading onto seaward facing balconies. Divided into a high quality modern kitchen with breakfast area, there is another formal dining table and seating area arranged to enjoy the magnificent views through the windows and patio doors. Both patios are furnished with seating and boast uninterrupted views. The apartment has allocated parking space for two cars in a gated car park. Perfectly placed to enjoy all that this popular seaside resort has to offer, Seascapes makes the ideal stay for a couple or with friends and family.

Over two floors (lift and stairs access to first floor entrance). Three bedrooms all ground floor: king-size double with TV and en-suite shower room, shower, basin and WC. 1 x twin with TV, 1 x single. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. First floor open plan living area, with kitchen with breakfast table, dining area and sitting area. Utility room, cloak room with basin and WC.

Area
Ilfracombe lies in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on a beautiful stretch of North Devon coastline, with five beaches and a pretty harbour now famous for the Damien Hirst bronze statue ‘Whoever’ that stands guard over the entrance. Once a Victorian retreat. the town is now a vibrant and popular resort with a fine variety of restaurants, cafes and shops in the town. The hand carved Tunnels Beaches offers some of the best rockpooling to be found and is also a busy wedding venue.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Stayed for a weeks break at Seascapes apartment. Given the covid issues the apartment was immaculate and we wanted for nothing. Ilfracombe is not for people afraid of a few hills but if you come to Devon you cant expect anything else. Property is on the top of the cliff overlooking the bay and beaches. Parking is available with two secured spaces and this will be needed but access to the front can be made via a pleasant although steep walk ( 4 mins most). Plenty to do even though access to some parts are restricted due to the pandemic most businesses are now back up and running. If you want to eat out best to book early. Would highly recommend this apartment. 4 adults and a baby and plenty of room

The apartment was exactly as seen on your website, beautiful views and very comfortable with an added piece of luxury, we only had one little niggle which was it was a little dirty round and about the apartment, like sticky tables and a dirty stained sink and cooker top, dust on light fittings and windows dirty, we also had to buy some pillows for the kids to sleep on as the ones in the rooms were badly stained and really needed replacing, apart from this which in no way was your fault, I found your website so easy to use and we were kept right up to date with what was required from us payment wise and what to do when we arrived at our destination.. I would certainly use your company again, as we were given exactly what we saw on the website for a pleasant change in this day and age. Had a lovely holiday and loved the apartment. Thank you all at Sykes.

This is a beautiful apartment accessible by car with private secure parking, two car bays and on second floor accessible by lift. The bedrooms are on 1st floor but not accessible by lift. The area is hilly but the views fantastic caters for children.

Only having one set of keys to the apartment was quite annoying.. A plumbing issue we had was sorted quickly. We normally clean up everywhere before we leave but couldn’t find any equipment to do so , apart from a vacuum and broom . A fantastic location for a beach holiday , made even better by the lovely weather :) I would highly recommend.

This was the most modern style holiday let we had taken, usually choosing the more characteristic properties of the Landmark Trust and National Trust, but we were not disappointed. Very clean, tidy, sleek, stylish and modern interior with stunning views across the Bristol Channel from its hilltop location. The bedrooms are very comfortable with crisp cotton bedding, and plenty of storage space for clothing. Bathrooms are likewise modern with powerful showers and one with bath. There are nearby buses to Woolacombe, Barnstaple, Bideford, Instow, and Westward Ho! It's ideal for a small family break, and would highly recommend it.

Cannot described how many times we said 'WOW' when we arrived - from the size, decor and quality of everything we felt we had booked into the 'Ritz' for the week.. Fantastic sea views and position with plenty of shops within a few minutes walk.

The only thing that would have improved our stay would be to have two sets of keys for the appartment.. At times, only having one set was very inconvenient. Other than that, the stay was excellent.
