The market town of Honiton lies in the valley of the River Otter resting in East Devon and enveloped by countryside mountains, hills, valleys and neighbouring villages. The town boasts a busy High Street, containing independent shops, pubs and restaurants, it's also home to the Allhallows Museum, showcasing the towns Elizabethan lacemaking history and antique lace. Other cultural attractions include the Thelma Hulbert Gallery which hosts a Grade I listed Victorian house. England's first natural World Heritage Site, Jurassic Coast, a 20 mile stretch with 185 million years of history and travelling through seaside resorts including Seaton, Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth. The booming city of Exeter can be found nearby where you can visit a selection of museums, a theatre and copious shops.
