Dartington Crystal is a popular tourist site where visitors can learn about the history of glassmaking. The town features a diverse assortment of unique stores, a welcoming ambiance, and some excellent inns. The outstanding RHS garden at Rosemoor, about a mile from Great Torrington, is spectacular in the summer with colourful roses.
