The Woodshed is a beautiful cottage converted from the end of the owner's former barn on the edge of the Devon village of Upton Pyne. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, a double and a twin, with family shower room. Upstairs is a sitting room with wood burning stove and balcony and on the lower floor is a kitchen with dining area. Outside is a seating area with table and chairs and access to the owners garden. Within walking distance of a good pub, The Woodshed is a super cottage for a relaxing Devon break.

Exeter is a lively city in south Devon with a magnificent cathedral, historic quayside area with artisan shops and cafes, guided tours of the maze of underground passages and a wealth of bars, shops and restaurants.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Lovely cosy escape.. Perfect for being close to the city yet unbelievably quiet and peaceful rural location. Fabulous hosts who were on hand throughout but not intrusive at all. Well equipped and clean. Would certainly return.

The Woodshed is an absolute haven, a real rural retreat .. The only sounds are birdsong and clucking chickens in the garden. Our hosts were very kind, helpful and welcoming, leaving us milk, flowers and a bottle of wine. All were much appreciated and our week was was a great,success. We can thoroughly recommend this cottage to get away from it all and relax.

The Woodshed is a beautiful place.. It overlooks gorgeous countryside and you can go for walks direct from the front door. The balcony is lovely and inside is very clean and cosy. It's hard to believe you're only a few miles from Exeter because it's so peaceful. Pretty garden to sit out in and friendly owners. Loads to do in the area.

A wonderful cottage , the best equipped ever and I have been holidaying in cottages all over the UK for the past 40 years plus ....also sparking clean . We had pretty atrocious weather so were not able to make use of the garden , but everything was there for a sunny day. The owners were very helpful when needed . I can't praise the Woodshed enough !!!

Beautifully presented, immaculately clean, lovely personal touches for our arrival. Good quality fittings and facilities, everything we could possibly need for our stay. Ideal for our doggie! Private, country location but only a couple of miles from Exeter and lots of places to visit.
