Area
On the southern shore, this is a lovely coastal village. Dawlish has all you need for a comfortable day-to-day existence, such as a wide range of stores, restaurants, and cafés, as well as a small cinema. The Dawlish River is renowned for its Black Swans and other wildfowl that live there. Strings of colourful lights decorate the central town park's waterway, which flows to the sea, at night in the summer. Dawlish has a sandy beach and a neighbouring crazy golf course, making it ideal for a family vacation. If you're feeling very energetic, you can walk along the sea wall to get to Dawlish Warren, which is up the coast. For those who want to travel further afield, Dawlish's mainline station provides easy access to destinations such as Exeter, Exmouth, Torquay, Paignton, and Plymouth.
