Area Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.

Tracey the owner was so welcoming and friendly I felt I’d just arrived home! The apartment is gorgeous and spotless clean and a credit to her. Location was great for me being so close to the town and riverside. I holidayed alone and felt very safe here. Tracey gave me her number to contact her should I need anything which was helpful. Had a great holiday and have booked with 2 girlfriends with Sykes for s holiday in September/October in Ireland.

Tracey keeps an immaculate holiday home and has really thought of every detail.. We had a lovely stay over the Bank Holiday weekend and were so lucky to enjoy the great weather and outdoor area. We were gutted to have broken a wine glass and have such a messy little (19month old) guest with us but again the owner was so obliging and told us not to worry. We will be back (if they’ll have us!).
