Dartmouth is one of Devon's most popular tourist sites, situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the shore. It has a beautiful shoreline, ancient small streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants, and art galleries, as well as a variety of local events such as the yearly Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, as well as the Dartmouth Food Festival in October. The South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail, and numerous quiet rural lanes are among the many attractive cycling and walking paths in and near Dartmouth.
