East Bickleigh is a semi-detached cottage converted from a 17th century farmhouse on a traditional working farm a mile from the South Devon village of Halwell. The cottage sleeps eight people in three en suite bedrooms, a double, a twin and a family room with French windows to steps to the patio. On the ground floor is a sitting room with wood burning stove and dining area and a kitchen with French windows to steps to the patio. Outside is the patio with furniture and barbecue, a shared indoor swimming pool, play area, trampoline and games room and a big farm to wander, plus parking for six cars. East Bickleigh is a welcoming base for a fun family break in Devon.

Halwell is a small village in wooded farmland equidistant from the busy little town of Kingsbridge and popular Totnes.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for six cars.Shared Childrens play area, barbecue, indoor pool. Three well behaved dogs welcome. There is a pet charge of £20 per pet for the second and third pet. Note: Note: Swimming pool is 39' x 19' x 3' to 4'6" deep, available from 8am to 8pm; occasionally the pool is also used by owners' family and friends.

We simply loved the comfort and features of the cottage, the kids were over the moon with the pool, games room and trampoline, and having all this on a working farm with little lambs just over the fence was amazing, My youngest grandson made friends with a cow who he is still talking about!

This is the fourth time we have met up as a family at East Bickleigh.. The setting is wonderful and the cottage contains everything one could wish for in a holiday cottage. We were warmly welcomed as usual. We are already planning our visit again next year.

Lovely holiday cottage.. The shared pool was great. The cottage needed a good clean in general especially the oven and surrounding area. The white goods also dirty so wouldn’t be washing my clothes. Owner informed.

The cooker and surround including the hood would benefit from an annual deep clean.. The oven was positively disgusting! The bathrooms needed some mould treated. Everyone enjoyed the pool.
