The property accommodates eight people in three bedrooms (one master suite with super king-size bed or twin beds, plus shower in bedroom, one room with a double bed and one room with two bunk beds), plus a family bathroom. There is also a living room, dining room, kitchen, utility room and cloakroom. Outside there is a balcony and steps down to a well-established garden with garden furniture, plus parking for 4 cars on the driveway. Blackgate is ideal for two families and is an excellent base for those looking to be close to Dartmouth yet conveniently located for exploring beautiful South Devon.

Three bedrooms: 1 x super king (can be a twin) with wash basin and shower cubicle with a Mira thermostatic shower. 1 x double 2x sets of bunk beds (3ft) A folding bed and bedding is available on request for an additional guest. Living room. Dining room. Kitchen. Utility room. Cloakroom with w.c and hand basin. Family bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash basin and w.c. Well-established garden which contains many pretty shrubs and flowers.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
