Hosting four bedrooms; three doubles, and a twin, along with two bathrooms, this property can sleep up to eight people. Inside you will also find a kitchen, dining room, and a sitting room with woodburner. To the outside is off-road parking. Located in a wonderful setting and close to places of interest, The Armourers Forge is an excellent retreat in a homely part of England.

First floor bathroom with freestanding bath, handheld shower, shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Dining room. First floor sitting room with woodburner.

Area
Ashburton has artisan shops and with its history and museum, has built a reputation for its high standard of antiques and fine collectables outlets. It also has tea rooms, a wine bar and a food deli. In the surrounding area, Dartmoor has many villages and hamlets with old thatched cottages and ancient churches, surrounded by a patchwork of fields and woodland.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Lovely house, very spacious, excellent facilities.. Lovely touches from the owners, homemade scones and fresh flowers on arrival. Owners were on hand to help with anything very efficiently, but otherwise we were left in privacy. The house is the perfect location for a stay in Ashburton. Which is a lovely town and a great location to explore both the south coast and Dartmoor. I would highly recommend a stay at the Armourers Forge in Ashburton.

The Armourer's Forge was exceedingly well fitted.. It is recently remodeled and like new. The kitchen was very well stocked. We wanted for nothing. The beds are comfortable, the sitting room large, everything functioned as it should. There were only two of us but this house would serve well for a family gathering for the Holiday.

Very well equipped including supplying essentials such as washing up liquid, washing and dishwasher soap, tea coffee etc.. Central location meant we could take advantage of the local shops and restaurants. Delicious cream tea on arrival.

Fabulous house.. Everything you could possibly need is provided and the house is fitted out to a very high standard. Centrally located in the town within easy walking distance of shops and pubs. Highly recommended

This really is a lovely place to stay with everything you could want for either a family holiday or a get together with friends.. The host are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Ashburton is a nice place with all the local shops you could need along with a good fish and chip and tea shop!!!
