Kestorway is a neat, single-storey annexe in a stunning countryside position below Kestor. Sleeping two guests in one double bedroom with a shower room, the sitting area has a wood burning stove and fabulous views and the kitchen has everything you'll need. Outside a well kept lawned garden surrounds the house and there is parking for two cars. With fantastic scenery, Kestorway is a perfect retreat for two.

All ground floor. One double bedroom. Hall for coats/boots; living room with great views, wood burning stove, small TV/DVD and door to garden which surrounds the whole house; fitted kitchen/dining room (washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, electric cooker) with garden views; double bedroom with pretty views; shower-room (suite). Family and friends welcome to camp on site (extra), by arrangement.

Area
A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot available on request, Off road parking for two cars. Up to three well-behaved dogs welcome (first pet is fee, the second and third at a charge of £25 per pet), Sorry no smoking. Note: This property has a private water supply which is tested regularly. Note: This property is approached over 70 yards of rough drive. Note: Domestic pets, as well as free ranging farm animals and wildlife are present in the immediate surrounding areas of Kestorway - we therefore politely request that dogs must be under effective close control at all times.

Amazing views from every room, top quality cottage style chic with everything one needs for a peaceful self catering break. The furnishings are comfortable and cosy. There is central heating but a log burner to cheer up a dull Dartmoor evening if needed. The garden is enclosed and the property is dog friendly. The hosts are delightful, welcoming and knowledgeable about the nearby walks and Bronze Age sites. Nearby Chagford is a lovely old town and 40 minutes to Okehampton.

Fantastic place to stay, with walks right on the doorstep! The owners were exceptionally helpful and made me feel extremely comfortable! Will definitely be going back, as it was extremely safe for my anxious dog, we both had a blast!

An absolutely idyllic location, peace, birdsong, starry skies.. A wonderful variety of walks starting outside the garden gate which opens out onto the moor. Shops, pubs and cafes in Chagford very dog friendly. Friendly helpful owners placed chocolates, fresh flowers and fresh eggs in the property for our arrival. We will definitely return.

I love this location due to the fact that you can walk onto the moor from the garden gate.. It's ideal for anyone wanting quiet, walking and relaxing and to be able to take the dogs . It's not for anyone who wants a fish and chip shop or ice cream van on their doorstep, or a large TV. Chagford is lovely but expensive. I am returning next year.

Kestorway is by far the best property on your books for walking on Dartmoor straight from the garden gate.. It is like a home from home with an exceedingly warm welcome from the owners who share my love of dogs and Dartmoor. The accommodation is well equipped and very comfortable. Having stayed in holiday cottages in many parts of the country Kestorway tops the list, it is an absolute gem. The setting of the cottage could not have been bettered with walks directly from the garden gate onto the moors with Kestor Rock a short walk away with its magnificent views. The owners Pauline and Jim are the most welcoming hosts with nothing being to much trouble to ensure your holiday needs are met at all times. Their advice regarding places to visit was invaluable and their knowledge of the area unbelievable. In all the perfect cottage and location.
