Dairy Cottage is a luxurious cottage in the heart of the little Dartmoor town of Chagford in Devon. The cottage sleeps four people in two en suite bedrooms, a double and a twin (truckle). On the ground floor is an open plan living space with a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen. Outside is a sunny cobbled courtyard garden with table and chairs. Just 300 yards from the shops and pubs, Dairy Cottage is an ideal base for an interesting break in Devon.

Two bedrooms: 1 x king size double with en suite bathroom with bath, shower, WC and basin, 1 x twin (truckle) with en suite shower room with shower, WC and basin. Ground floor WC with basin. Open plan living space with seating area, dining area and kitchen.

Area
A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, Chagford is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Lovely cottage - very high spec and in good location.. Only downside is there is no parking with cottage so pot luck if you can find somewhere close. Shame we couldn't use courtyard garden as weather not great. Would love to stay again.

The cottage that we stayed in was amazing, if anything we didn't think the pictures did it justice.. We had been slightly apprehensive as there was no picture from the outside . The property set in the courtyard was beautiful and really should be included to show its full charm. The property is of a very high specification, everyone made us feel so welcome within the village too .

This is one of the best holiday lets we have ever rented and we are in our 80’s, and have rented all over the world.. All the equipment is of the highest standard ,it is extremely comfortable with many thoughtful touches.The design of the building is outstanding ,with amazing lighting and beautiful painting and ornaments everywhere.We really thought as if we were staying in a house built by extremely talented interiors designers. The same applied to the pretty courtyard. It was a true pleasure to stay in Dairy Cottage.

The Dairy Cottage offers fantastic accommodation with top quality facilities.. The ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom is amazing. Although the property is positioned just off the main road into Chagford village, it is very quiet. Parking is not possible directly outside the property but there are convenient parking spaces available within a very short walking distance. Chagford boasts a great selection of pubs serving reasonably priced meals and has a lovely park for young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dairy Cottage and would highly recommend it.
