Kestrel is a charming, beachfront chalet with a kitchen and a living/dining room. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a double, serviced by a bathroom. Outside, there is available parking in a nearby car park (guests must supply their registration details to the owner 2 weeks prior to arrival in order to qualify for free car parking, otherwise daily car parking charges will apply), a decked balcony with furniture, and access to the beach. Within 0.8 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.4 miles, a pub. Please note, this property welcomes two well-behaved dogs (£25 charge applies for 2nd dog), but is non-smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. Enjoy an unforgettable stay on the beach at Kestrel. Note: Property is accessed via a walk along a cobbled beach and an external staircase, which may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Note: No child facilities. Note: The car park has a 2.2 metre height restriction and there is no vehicular access to the chalet. Branscombe is located at the meeting point of two valleys, home to a collection of thatched cottages that lead the way to the sea, and the village is believed to be the longest in England. A number of historic buildings are worth noting; the Old Bakery and Forge, both National Trust properties, are just some of which can be found nearby. Branscombe Mouth has a beach with good parking facilities, a licensed restaurant complete with thatched roof and a wealth of rock pools just waiting to be searched for crabs and other sea creatures. Why not take a trip out to Sidmouth and the surrounding countryside where you’ll find a great range of attractions and activities to entertain the whole family, including a visit to the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary with over 500 rescue donkeys to see. World of Country Life is just a few miles away and is an award winning family day out.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

While the chalet was lovely,idont think the walk from the car park to the chalet is explained enough,you are going for a week and need lots of stuff but you have to drag it up a field with cows in then through a gate down some very steep steps across a pebble beach to get to the chalet and while it does say people with mobility issues would find it hard able bodied people find it hard and we were lucky it wasn’t raining I don’t think this chalet should be let out as a holiday rental as access is just not suitable,please think carefully before booking this chalet.

The photos advertised outside are dated, it is not what it looks like from the outside now. Felt very dangerous and unsafe. Only kestrel was accessible but steps very slippy, no grips on the wooden steps to help. The other chalets are not accessible. Not very good outside lighting. There is a big unfenced drop by the front door. Dogs need to be on a lead until you get down on to the shingle beach due to the big drop by the door, slippy steps and unsafe surroundings. Not suitable AT ALL for people with even slight mobility issues even though you advertised that it 'may not be suitable for those with limited mobility'. We would not have booked to stay here if the photos reflected what it looks like now. Unable to go out at night due to accessibility from the car park and no lighting to the chalet. Can only fit 2 people at a push on the balcony so be aware of booking for more that 2 people. We left early due to feeling unsafe. Very disappointed.
