Woodside - A wonderful year-round three bedroom detached holiday home, located on the outskirts of the historic maritime town of Bideford on the River Torridge in Devon, a thriving town with a fine selection of shops and restaurants. It has been finished to a very high standard and the owners have taken great care in the furnishing of their holiday home, it is well equipped and provides guests with a stylish and comfortable base from which to explore the delights of beautiful North Devon and North Cornwall. There is a spacious, contemporary kitchen with a welcoming dining area and from here patio doors lead out to a private sunny lawned garden with patio, a place to perhaps enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon tea. The inviting sitting room has comfy sofas, a flat screen TV with Freeview and catch up service and a DVD player and there is free unlimited WiFi available. There’s also the convenience of a ground floor cloakroom. Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms, with the master boasting a modern en-suite shower room and, completing the house is a modern family bathroom. This holiday home is in a superb location to enjoy the beauty and charm of North Devon and discover all that this area has to offer. Guests can enjoy a fun-filled day out at the nearby award-winning Big Sheep all weather family attraction and the Ultimate Adventure Centre, approximately a mile down the road, with the Atlantic Village Outlet Shopping Centre and supermarket only a couple of miles away. The delightful quayside village of Appledore and the pretty beach at Instow are both just over three miles away. This area is also home to fantastic beaches, like Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Croyde, Woolacombe and Bude, offering fabulous opportunities for surfing, swimming, kite surfing, or simply paddling in the rock pools and playing on the beach. Plus the famous traffic-free Tarka Trail, offering fabulous walking and cycling opportunities, the South West Coastal Path and golf at Northam Burrows are all close by. The traditional market town of Barnstaple, fascinating Dartington Crystal, the picturesque fishing village of Clovelly and beautiful RHS Garden Rosemoor also make great days out. Woodside is in a convenient location for exploring this beautiful area, with plenty to see and do for all the family.
