Area The peaceful village of Bampton rests in a wooded valley on the banks of the River Batherm in Devon. Within easy reach of the Exmoor National Park, Bampton boasts a convenient location and a village full of characterful Georgian cottages and houses as well as a good range of shops and pretty floral displays. The village is known for its annual pony fair, as well as playing host to a fold festival. The nearby towns of Dulverton and Tiverton are a short and scenic drive away and perfect for discovering this beautiful area of the country by foot or bicycle.
