Appliances include an electric range with oven and hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher and a coffee machine and for entertainment there are two Smart TVs with Freeview, a DVD player, WiFi and a Sony music system. Outside there is an enclosed garden with a lawn, patio, furniture and barbecue hut, as well as off-road parking for three cars. Fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and one well-behaved pet is welcome. There is also a cot and stairgate available. Please note that there are steps up from the parking spaces and an unfenced stream in the garden so children must be supervised. You can find a shop within 0.5 miles and a pub in 1.2. Axminster, nestled in beautiful tranquil countryside, is unquestionably a place to relax and unwind. It is one of Devon's most beautiful little villages, famous for its carpets, which are sometimes compared to Turkish examples. Axminster, located on the River Axe and easily accessible from both the West Dorset and East Devon Jurassic Coasts, offers many attractions, including many of privately owned businesses, a weekly market, and good old inns, one of which dates back 100 years and has its own resident ghost! With stunning views and the National Trust estates of Shute Barton and Loughwood Meeting House nearby, Axminster is a must-see.
