Area Appledore is a charming village resting right where the Taw and Torridge rivers meet. This quayside setting is a tranquil spot to enjoy a break to North Devon, with a great handful of shops and pubs to enjoy during your stay, including an excellent deli, a chocolate shop and fish and chip shops. The luscious Northam Burrows Country Park is just a stone's throw away for scenic strolls, as is the sandy stretches of Westward Ho! Beach and the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast.
Region Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
