Shortner Croft is a detached, single-storey cottage in the village of Biggin in the Peak District. The cottage sleeps two people in one double bedroom. There is also a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a kitchen with a dining area, and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside there is ample off road parking and an enclosed lawned garden with a patio, furniture and a BBQ, perfect for enjoying an evening meal. Biggin is a small, 13th century rural village ideally located for the Dove and Manifold valleys in the Peak District National Park, with a church and pub serving good food. Close by are National Trust owned Dovedale, the Tissington Trail, the village of Hartington with its famous cheese shop and market towns including Buxton and Ashbourne. Wonderful surrounding countryside allows for great walking and cycling, and Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are well worth a visit.
