Piggery Place is a one storey barn conversion located near the village of Hartington, Peak District National Park. Hosting two bedrooms; a double and a twin, along with an adapted wet room, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with gas woodburner. To the outside is off-road parking, and a small garden area with bench. Situated on the owner's farm, ideal for a couple or a small family, this is a pleasant property in an excellent part of England.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Wet room with shower, basin and WC. (disabled-friendly facilities). Open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with log effect electric fire.

Area
The former Hartington railway station, about a mile and half from the village itself, is now a picnic area and the converted track is known as the Tissington Trail, popular with both walkers and cyclists. Hartington is also a good starting point for walking along Beresford Dale, a beautiful place with its curiously formed cliffs and rocks.

The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

A very nice cottage indeed and very well placed for exploring the area.. We were made welcome. There is one issue that may be to do with the way Sykes lists pet-free properties, or it may be to do with how the owner has portrayed it: it appears on your web-site as pet-free, but in fact, as this is a property suitable for the disabled, it actually allows assistance dogs. While this did not affect us, it could well be a major problem for any visitor with severe allergies who is expecting to be visiting a pet-free property when in fact it may not be.
