Old Cottage is a traditional cottage resting in the village of Winster in the Peak District. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms which are a king size and a twin as well as a family ground-floor bathroom. The cottage also contains a dining kitchen and a sitting room with woodburning stove and attractive fireplace. To the outside is roadside parking in the village. Old Cottage is an excellent base for a wonderful Peak District holiday, all year round.

Area
Winster is a bustling village resting within the White Peak area of the Peak District National Park, just 4.5 miles away from Matlock. Within the village you will find a charming 17th century market house and the three main streets of Main Street, East Bank and West Bank are interconnected by alleyways known as ‘ginnels’. Here, you will also find general store incorporating a Post Office and two pubs, both serving food and traditional beer.

The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
