Description
Whaley Bridge, or the Gateway to the Goyt Valley, is an attractive small town located on the edge of the Peak District National Park. At the head of the Peak Forest Canal, the area boasts pretty walks and cycle paths along the water towards Bridgemount and Buxworth. There is also an array of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops to choose from so you can stock up for your stay. The train station with links to Manchester and Buxton is a short stroll away. Step into the hallway, take off your coat and shoes and wander through to the lounge, with comfy seating for six and a TV for watching all your favourite shows. The kitchen offers everything you need for a home from home stay, including an electric double oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Come together around the dining table for a special celebration meal or a weekend take away treat. On the first floor, you will find two double bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and WC, great for a soak after a day exploring the hills. On the second floor is a double zip and link bedroom (which can be made into a twin upon request). This spacious room offers lounge seating and a handy en suite shower room with a shower and WC.
